JANUARY IS CERVICAL CANCER AWARENESS MONTH

During this year’s Cervical Cancer Awareness Month, I advise you to please take time to check whether you, a relative, or a friend is due for Pap testing. In general, testing for most women starts at 21 years of age and, if results remain normal, is repeated every three years until 30 years old.  Afterward, it may be repeated every five years through age 65.
