If your kiddos are anything like mine, they would love to carry around a blanket everywhere they go. It was always such a drag to carry around a big, bulky blanket, so I decided to make them a smaller one. I am a crafty momma and love to crochet items such as beanies, hats, scarves, and blankets, so making my girls a blanket was easy for me....Learn more
When a woman finds out she is expecting, several emotions and thoughts stream through her mind and heart. There is always a burst of excitement and then a rush of nervousness. Pregnancy consists of so many changes that take place in the body physically and naturally, that stress is inevitable. No matter how much of a breeze your pregnancy is, at some point stress will appear, whether it is due to body changes or from all the blood drawn to ensure that all is going ok as each trimester progresses....Learn more
My two boys started teething pretty early in comparison to my friends and according to “the book". The drool just keeps on coming and doesn’t stop. Seems like by the time we got somewhere, I would have to change their outfit since the front was soaked. I looked for cute bibs, but none of them seemed comfortable enough to wear most of the day as a spit catcher, if you will. I looked online and found a few sites that had them for sale but they cost an exorbitant amount of money....Learn more

When it came time to find out the sex of our baby, I wanted the moment to be memorable and more intimate than having a nurse inform me while I was lying on a cold, hard exam table at the doctor’s office. I love prepping for baby’s arrival, from putting together the bouncer and swing to washing those adorable tiny clothes, every bit of it just gets me more and more excited. By far though, one of my favorite pre-baby preparations is pulling the nursery together and adding some extra special touches. As huge Disney lovers, we chose Bambi for our baby nursery theme, not necessarily the easiest theme to find things in seeing as it’s one of Disney’s oldest classics, but we thought it would make our nursery extra special. After hours of searching online, we finally found some amazing Bambi staples that would fit perfectly into the neutral striped bedroom. The Bambi bedding and odds and ends were great, but I knew I wanted to add a little extra love with some mommy made accents. Here are three of my favorite DIY nursery additions that I added my own Bambi flair to!...Learn more
